Time for action on health care

We, the undersigned, call on the provincial government to take meaningful action to address the health care crisis, by:

  • Hiring more doctors, nurses and other health care workers.
  • Keeping our health care services and infrastructure public.
  • Establishing a Mental Health Bill of Rights to ensure people get the care they need, when they need it.
  • Opening more nursing home beds so that seniors are not stranded in hospital beds while waiting for placement in a nursing home.
