Statement by NDP Leader Gary Burrill on resumption of the Legislature

HALIFAX- NDP Leader Gary Burrill made the following statement about the legislative session resuming on February 28:

“We know a crisis when we see one. The NDP Caucus will put the health care crisis front and centre when the Legislature resumes on February 28.

Stephen McNeil’s Liberals have been ignoring the crisis in our emergency rooms, hospitals, and nursing homes. My colleagues and I will work to hold the government accountable on these issues and will propose solutions to make sure people have access to the care they need, when and where they need it.”
