Research and Policy Analyst - Halifax, NS

The Nova Scotia NDP Caucus is seeking a full-time Research and Policy Analyst to join our team. The Research and Policy Analyst will work directly with the NDP Members of the Legislative Assembly and Leader to propose and promote progressive ideas and policies through legislative proposals, legislative committee support, public outreach, stakeholder consultations, and other means.

This position is a permanent, unionized, full-time position with a variable schedule.

Halifax, NS

Job Responsibilities: The ideal candidate for this position will have strong writing and editing skills. They must also be comfortable managing several competing priorities and tasks in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. This position requires both a strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and adapt on the spot.

Compensation:

The NDP Caucus offers a competitive salary with cost-shared health, dental, and pension benefits. Salary band is 2,506.45 bi-weekly.
